Nov 27, Week of LoL

From the last blog post, I played League of Legends for the weekend. I'm going to give you an insight on the playable characters each week I post a blog. The first champion I would like to talk about is Kayn.

Kayn is a newer champion in League of Legends, and I think his play style is great. His first ability is a passive, something that is active for the entirety of the game. At first the ability doesn't do much, but once you deal a certain amount of damage you can choose to become red or blue. Depending on what you choose, Kayn will have different abilities.

Here's a video showing what this looks like in game.

His second ability (Q - Reaping Slash) dashes forward, dealing damage to all enemies, then flourishes his scythe dealing damage again. Here's a video that shows how he looks

Kayn's W - Blades Reach, performs an upward swing with his scythe, dealing damage and slowing all enemies hit. If he chooses blue kayn he will be able to move while performing the ability, and red kayn will knock up and add more of a slow.

Here's a video showing this.

Kayn's E - Shadow Step, Is something new to League of Legends that no other champion is able to do. Once activated, Kayn can walk through walls and be unable to be targeted by enemies. Upon walking through the wall, he is healed for a portion of his missing health. Here's a video showing what this would look like.

Kayn's last ability R - Umbril Trespass also brought something new to League of Legends. It allows Kayn after dealing damage to infest an enemy and become untargetable, after 2.5 seconds or sooner, kayn un infests his target and deals damage. Here's a video showing what this looks like in game.

Thanks for taking the time to read this blog post. Next week I will be taking a look at a Dota 2 character.
